Toll Drying Services

Pilot-Dryer Scale. We use our Pilot-scale spray dryer for low volume toll-processing of high-value, high-purity products. Typical runs on the PCS Model P-0.1 pilot-scale spray dryer involve removing 100 to 1000 pounds of water. Our average price for toll drying on this scale is $2,500 per shift.

Production Scale. Most of our contract spray drying is performed on our PCS Model P-1 spray dryer, which has an evaporative capacity of 400 pounds of water per hour. Typical production runs involve 1 to 40 tons of feed material. For planning and estimating purposes, toll drying fees on the P-1 Spray Dryer are between $1.25 and $2.00 per pound of water evaporated, depending on the level of effort required, including, but not limited to:

• Packaging
