Pulse Combustion Systems recently added to its Prilling capacity by acquiring a large chilling unit. This unit allows PCS to run Prilling (or “Spray Chilling”) demonstrations on its Pilot Dryer, and to also conduct larger-scale Prilling operations on its Production Dryer.
The throughput of the Pilot Dryer is about 50 pounds of powder per hour, and the Production Dryer is expected to produce about 500 pounds per hour.
